I’m Jake, and I’ve been making videos for over 10 years. After graduating with a degree in Church Media Production from Liberty University in 2023, I now work full-time as a video producer at a church and help other churches create engaging videos.

Years ago, I was feeling all the frustrations you might be feeling now – wishing the videos I was making were better, wishing I had better equipment, and didn’t even know where to go to improve my video skills.

This is a big section, for good reason.

We go through what hardware & software to use for editing, how to keep all of your videos and project organized, where to find music & sound effects, and a lot more.

I walk through every aspect of editing a real testimony video in DaVinci Resolve (editing, color correcting/grading, audio editing, & exporting).

Then, I cover a quick overview of Premiere Pro if that's what you choose to edit on and how our editing principles from DaVinci Resolve can translate to other software.
