I’m Jake, and I’ve been making videos for over 10 years. After graduating with a degree in Church Media Production from Liberty University in 2023, I now work full-time as a video producer at a church and help other churches create engaging videos.

    Created as a simple way to keep track of shots in a video project. Includes fillable & printable PDF versions, a Notion database template, and a Google Sheet template.

  • DaVinci Resolve Keyboard Shortcuts

    The shortcuts I personally use in DaVinci Resolve. While not overly modified from the default, I made a few minor tweaks to increase my editing speed, and included them so you can easily follow along with the Editing lessons.

  • Premiere Pro Keyboard Shortcuts

    Similar with DaVinci Resolve, I slightly modified a few settings to speed up my editing in Premiere.

  • Phone HDR PowerGrades & LUTs

    If you've ever shot in HDR mode on a phone and tried to edit that footage, you might've had some weird things happen. I made these to mitigate some of those color shifts when I have HDR phone footage to edit.

  • My DaVinci Resolve Node Tree

    A template for the color grading node tree I use on nearly very video project in DaVinci Resolve. Both Sony SLOG3 & general PowerGrade templates are included.

  • Social Media Posting Calendar

    Created in Notion, this is what I use personally to manage social media posts. It tracks platforms, statuses, and posting dates.

  • VHS Assets

    Dozens of custom recorded VHS stock footage, glitch FX, and still frames to incorporate in any video project you can imagine.

  • Film Storyboard Template

    Some video projects require you to communicate how each frame will look in a more visual way. I created this simple film storyboard template for you to fill in with a short description of each scene.
